Residence
Let us be your home away from home!
There’s no better way for you to get connected
to university life than by living in one of our three residences located on campus.
Trueman, Fraser and Chapman Houses all offer co-ed living with
the option of same sex and quiet sections. These three houses are conveniently
located within a few minutes walk of classes, labs, meal hall, the library,
the farm and our athletic centre. Residence is a great place
to meet new friends while developing a good study routine.

Living in residence is truly an experience you won't get living off campus. It is the opportunity to make lifelong friends, participate in house organizations and events, and it also provides the foundation for sound academic, spiritual and social development. What other time in your life are you going to live with hundreds of your friends right next door?

There is always something to do when living in residence, so there is never an excuse to be bored! Take part in a pizza party in the lobby, a study group in the lounge, a snowball fight during the first snow fall, fun contests and more. Get involved with as many activities and events that your schedule will allow and you are sure to get the most out of your college experience.

Residence is your home away from home! Bring fun things from home to personalize your room and make it your own. Refer to the residence handbook to find out what you are allowed to bring and what you should leave at home.

When applying for residence, you have the opportunity to request a particular roommate. The person you selected must also indicate that they would like to have you as a roommate in order for you to be matched up. Only people of the same sex will be paired as roommates. Students can also suggest to stay in a room in a
quiet section, which we have in each one of our houses. All male and all female sections are also available, but may not be available in all three houses. Quiet and same sex sections are available on a first come, first serve basis and are not guaranteed.
