Licensing
Opportunities
The NSAC is seeking opportunities to license technologies that
have been developed at the university. This section will be used
to describe these technologies as they become available.
Flintbox
Flintbox is
an online platform providing access to early stage research
at universities for dissemination, download
and license
an online platform. It allows Universities and researchers
to post their projects online and enable the transfer or
license
of intellectual property to users. Examples of intellectual
property that is available through Flintbox include cellular
lines and
antibodies, databases, datasets used in a publication, images,
survey instruments, software, courses and training materials,
and patented inventions. Transactions for many of these items
can occur directly on Flintbox. Please contact the

Springboard
NSAC is part of the Springboard network of technology transfer
offices at Atlantic Canada universities. As such, we can access
resources and expertise at the other universities that may
be unavailable at our institution. Contact the Industry Liaison
