Course Description from 2010/2011 Calendar:
The history and the current status of world aquaculture production are discussed, with emphasis on species with potential in Canada. Advances in freshwater and marine finfish and shellfish culture are included. Aquatic plant production is discussed. Business aspects of aquaculture are introduced. The course includes field trips to aquaculture and related facilities.
Fall semester – 3 lecs and 1 lab per week
