Course Outline: Aquacultural Environment (ENGN 2004)
Instructor: To be announced. Term: Winter Updated: Jan. '06
Principles necessary for understanding and providing optimal environments for aquaculture production are reviewed. Topics in water habitat management will be emphasized including: water properties of fresh and saltwater systems; water quality and reconditioning techniques; maintenance of dissolved oxygen and removal of metabolic wastes in aquaculture rearing systems; and evaluation of water resource requirements for aquaculture.
