Extension Agricultural Engineering Building and Heating Plant
20 Rockgarden Rd.
The Extension Engineering Building and Heating Plant initially housed
all of the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture Engineering initiatives, i.e.
both university and extension engineering (consisting of shops, a classroom,
and
offices). It currently houses the Resource Stewardship Branch of NSDAF.
In 1988 the central heating plant was renovated to
include a wood chip boiler and chip storage bin.
The Nova Scotia Department of Transportation and Public Works has its own
office and staff here as well.
In late 1995 the Information Technology section of NSDAM also moved its offices
to the Extension Engineering Building. In 1996 this section became part of
the
Resources Corporate Service Unit.
