Members of the public are welcome to use the MacRae Library
and borrow materials. There are two types of memberships
available to the public: NSAC off-campus borrower or Novanet

NSAC off-campus borrower's card
NSAC off-campus borrowers (OCB) must register at the Circulation
Desk in the library by presenting two pieces of ID and filling
out an NSAC off-campus borrowers card. You will receive
an NSAC off-campus borrowers card which must be presented
each time to sign out books.
NSAC OCB's may only check out books and other circulating
material from the NSAC collection. You must purchase a Novanet
off-campus borrower's card if you wish to borrow or request
an item from a different library.
Cards expire yearly and it is your responsibility to ensure
they are renewed with the correct address information. Cards
expire September 30 of each year.
NSAC off-campus borrower's cards are free.
Novanet off-campus borrower's card
The same procedures above apply to obtain a Novanet off-campus
borrower's card, except there is a $35 fee. The fee must
be paid every year you wish to renew your Novanet off-campus
borrower's card.
