As a gardener I love plants, but I have always enjoyed woodland
walks, for the peace and serenity a woodland garden offers.
When purchasing our home there was a small treed area at the
back of the property. This is when my passion for shade plants
began, starting with Hostas. Rhododendrons and azaeleas followed.
In the last few years I have developed a love of ferns! I know
they're green and they lack colour, but what makes ferns interesting
is their texture and contrast with other plants.
