President’s List 2008

NSAC honored the universities highest caliber students on February 4th. One hundred and nine names were added to NSAC’s President’s List, recognizing students for their outstanding academic achievements from the winter and fall semesters of 2008.

To be named to the President’s List, students must be within the top ten per cent of their program of study and have a term average of 80 percent or higher. Students must also be enrolled in four or more courses per semester.

Honorees enjoyed an inspirational address from Dr. Kevin Sibley, chief operating officer, Atlantic BioVenture Centre and professor of engineering at NSAC, titled Metaphors for Living Life.

Dr. Sibley provided students with insights for looking at the world in a new way, through a compilation of short contemplative metaphors for dealing with life’s ups and downs.
