Nova Scotia Agricultural College's Foundation

Nova Scotia Agricultural College's Foundation is committed to supporting and enhancing the vision, mission and values of Nova Scotia Agricultural College through the development and management of private support. In this endeavor, the Foundation works in partnership with NSAC Administration and the Alumni Association.

Nova Scotia Agricultural College's Foundation is mandated to receive and manage legacies and specialized gifts in support of NSAC students, facilities and programs. As a corporate body, the Foundation is also able to receive property, including money by gift, bequest, grant or otherwise, for the purpose of providing financial support to the institution. The Boards meets several times a year and minutes of their meetings are on-line

Under the provincial University Foundations Act and specific regulations, Nova Scotia Agricultural College's Foundation is granted Crown Status under the Income Tax Act of Canada as a qualified Donee. Receipts that may be used for income tax purposes are issued for donations made to NSAC through the Foundation.
