Frequently Asked Questions
The following FAQs should assist you when applying for admission
and choosing your courses.
- What is Continuing Education?
- Continuing Education consists of non-degree courses, workshops
and certificate programs for your professional development
and personal enrichment. These learning opportunities are
offered in a face-to-face format and are delivered on-campus
at NSAC or at sites convenient to our audience.
- How do I pay for my course?
- NSAC accepts cheques, Visa or Mastercard. Invoices can also
be sent to a business address. Cash and Interac will also
be accepted at the office.
- Who can apply?
- There generally are no restrictions for individuals wishing
to register in a continuing education course. It is recommended
that you read the course description carefully to ensure that
the course is right for you.
- Where are you located?
- Our office is located at 23 Sheep Hill Lane, Haley Institute,
Room 276, Nova Scotia Agricultural College, Truro, NS.
- Can I apply and pay for a course online?
- Registration forms can be printed out from the website and
then faxed or mailed to our office. Payment is due at time
of registration.
- When are courses offered?
- Courses are offered at various times throughout the year.

section of this website for specifics.
- What happens after I register?
- Once your registration and payment have been received, you
will receive a letter of confirmation and a map of the campus.
- What is your cancellation and refund policy?
- In the event that a course is cancelled, you will be notified
within three business days of the decision deadline and your
tuition will be fully refunded. If you are unable to attend
a course, notify us in writing prior to the decision deadline
to receive a full refund. Your tuition will not be refunded
after the decision deadline.
- Who do I call if I need more information?

- What is a "decision deadline"?
- Each course has its own decision deadline. Please see the
individual course description or contact us for more information.
It is advisable to register early, as some courses have limits
and fill up quickly.
