Ultimate
Frisbee Club on Campus for Summer 2011
MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY
Noon
This summer ultimate frisbee will be played Monday and Wednesdays
at noon on the NSAC soccer field, weather permitting. The
first game is planned for Wednesday, June 8th.
For those unfamiliar with ultimate, it
is a non-contact game where two teams compete to pass the
frisbee among players into a target end zone. Typically
a short game of catch is played until 12:15 to allow players
a chance to get ready, and then the game is played until
1:00. This is open to all students/staff/faculty of NSAC,
as well as members of the community.
No special equipment is needed and all
levels of skill are welcome. The emphasis of this club is
very much on getting active, having fun, and social interaction
with NSAC campus and community. If you have never played
or heard of ultimate before, you will fit in with this group.
The club is designated to be "drop-in",
so players can join at any time of the season, cost is $3.00
per drop in. Generally an e-mail list is made up to contact
those people who are interested to play, simply to alert
them to certain days when the field may not be available
(due to weather or grounds crew maintenance). If interested,
please contact Mason MacDonald (m2macdonald@nsac.ca) or
Ashley Simms at the Athletic Centre 893-6660 or email asimms@nsac.ca

Racquetball
Ladder

A competition ladder for racquetball will take place all
season and culminate with the top 8 finishers competing
in play-offs in February and March. Clinics are provided
