Regional Poultry Research Priorities
The new research facility will enable the NSAC
and APRI to address interests of the regional poultry industry through scientific
research, technology transfer & development of highly qualified personnel.

Current state of affairs...
- Two poultry scientists are located at the NSAC
one Federally funded
one NSAC faculity
- The Atlantic Poultry Research Institute (APRI) is alive
and well with a renewed vision and focus
- Research priority list in place and currently going through
the yearly update procedure in consultation with marketing boards
- Canadian Council of Animal Care approval requires replacement
of current facilities
