Career Services Programs
The Career Services and Awards office is
your "Career Information and Employment" centre on campus. Remember
back when you were a student looking for summer work or that
first chance to get experience after graduation? If you are
in a position to hire a student or are aware of an employment
opportunity, call the Career Services office and consider giving
that experience to an NSAC student. For the first couple of
years following graduation, term and contract jobs are great
ways to gain experience and build on your resume.
Remember to keep in contact with the Career
Services office during this time for full-time and permanent
listings. The job list is available on the Internet at http://nsac.ca/csa/job_listings.asp - Keep that site bookmarked for regular use.
The Career Services office staff are often
asked for referrals of candidates with three to five years experience
or more. Even if you're not in an active job search but would
be interested in being made aware of certain positions as they
come along, make sure the file copy of your resume is up to
date. For more information or to make an appointment call 902-893-7895.
