Strategic Planning at Nova Scotia Agricultural College
is an ongoing collaborative process involving the entire NSAC
community and a broad representation of external stakeholders.
It provides us with an opportunity to reflect upon our past
successes, and to reconsider our mission and vision as we establish
new strategic directions and continuously improve our institution.
The strategic plan, Looking Outward – Embracing
Change, was published in 2002, and set our strategic goals for
2002-2007. By 2005, significant progress was made towards many
of the strategic goals of the plan and there was recognition
on campus that a renewed plan was necessary and would provide
the opportunity for more focus and direction over the next five
years. During the next two years a Strategic
Plan Advisory Committee worked to lay the foundation for a 2008-2013
NSAC Strategic Plan. The result entitled Renewing our Commitmentwas released August 2008 and is meant to guide NSAC until 2013.
